She had to be strong When you said that she was in the wrong It turned her heart to stone She needs to find a river Where you can find her never She finds that it is better off to be alone
She once held you close But it seemed she was easy to dispose And her tears never swayed your thinking Into the swamps she's trecked Her feeble and clay vessel wrecked Deep within she's further sinking
Despite your excuses You should know that it's completely useless To try to clean it from your hands She needs to search the sea To fulfill what she can be Without your face haunting her on the mainland
