All that is shiny easily distracts us
Not all who are lost were wandering
To this endless adventure we acquiesce
Not all who waste time were squandering
With sometimes a lot and sometimes a little in our haul
We are the shadows that the light creates
With caffeine fueling our often awkward footfall
The journey we take wherever slowly abates
